National Kids to Park Day

Kids to Parks Day is a national day of outdoor play celebrated annually on the third Saturday of May.

This day is intended to connect kids and families with their local, state, and national parks and public lands through thousands of park events that promote discovery and exploration in the great outdoors.

Join in on this nationally celebrated day at Wildwood Park for this years celebration and discovery of the park by going on a scavenger hunt.

This is a free event intended for those 0-12 years old.

All you need to bring is a pen/pencil, something to write on, water bottle, bug spray, etc.

EVENT SCHEDULE:

At 9am you will check in with Greenville Recreation PD staff to get your scavenger hunt guide.

After you check in you will set off to see if you can find all the items in the park.

The hunt should take about 45minutes to an hour.

Once you have found and recorded all the items come back to the check in location and grab your event shirt. The first 100 participants will receive a t-shirt once they have completed the hunt at Wildwood. (shirts will only be given to kids)

*This is a free event pre-registration is encouraged, so they can staff accordingly and make sure the event runs smoothly and you don’t have to wait in line for long!!
