EVENT STRUCTURE:
Advanced Format
All tournaments will be Swiss rounds based on attendance. The max number of rounds is 4. Each round is best 2 out of 3 games with a 40 minute time limit.
If there are more than 16 players we will run two events that start will start simultaneously.
PRIZING:
Each player receives one OTS (Official Tournament Store) pack for participating.
Prize payout will based on wins if the tournament is 4 rounds.
2 wins = 1 booster (to boost your deck of cards)
3 wins = 2 boosters
4 wins = 4 boosters
Prize payout for a 3 round event will be based on the following scale:
Number of Players/1st place/2nd/3rd/4th
If 4 players: 1st place wins 3 packs of new cards, 2nd place wins 1 pack of new cards
If 5 players: 1st place wins 3 packs of new cards, 2nd and 3rd place wins 1 pack of new cards
If 6 players: 1st place wins 3 packs of new cards, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place wins 1 pack of new cards
If 7 players: 1st place wins 3 packs of new cards, 2nd place wins 2 packs of new cards, 3rd and 4th place win 1 pack
If 8 players: 1st place wins 4 packs of new cards, 2nd place wins 2 packs of new cards and 3rd and 4th place win 1 pack
ENTRY FEE: $5 (pay upon entry)
